Overview
Highly visible position with responsibility to negotiate, implement, and monitor national parts programs with
selected national accounts.
Dimensions: Sales: $10-$50 million, Accounts: National Fleet Customers
Job Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain a sales relationship between Meritor Aftermarket and National Fleet Customer
• Coordinate communication between Meritor and major fleets across North America
• Develop, implement, and administer rebates for key accounts
• Maintain database with current National Fleet information, including information relative to current business, potential business, and opportunities in specific Metropolitan Statistical Areas (MSAs)
• Work with Marketing to develop programs and track performance against objectives
• Provide ongoing support through accessibility, responsiveness, and consistent application of policies
• Implement AOP (Annual Operating Plan) strategies to achieve divisional sales and profit goals
• Assist Sales & Marketing in developing strategic plans to support fleet initiatives
• Work with Regional Managers and OEM Account Managers to coordinate field activity to ensure customer satisfaction and
consistent communication of activities
• Demonstrate continuous development of self through training which will result in improved sales
QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's Degree plus 5 years industry experience
• High School Diploma plus 10 years industry experience
• Working knowledge of competitive heavy vehicle / commercial vehicle products
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Products (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
• Strong demonstrated oral and written communication
• In-depth knowledge of channels of distribution and fleet end-user needs
• Demonstrated interpersonal and negotiating skills
• Familiarity with all competitors' products, policies, and programs
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate from idea design through project implementation
• Strong technical background and familiarity with Meritor products
