Reports to: Finance Manager, Fixed Assets and Overheads
Salary: £competitive + bonus + benefits
Job type: 12 month FTC
Location: Whitbread Court, Dunstable (currently remote)
The Accounting & Control (“A&Câ€) team is a critical element of the overall Financial Control team, providing accurate monthly accounts, commercial and statutory reporting, balance sheet account control and acting as a business partner to key areas of the organisation.
The successful candidate will need to be a ‘hands on’, pragmatic individual who will ensure that results are delivered on time without compromising the standards expected for financial processes and controls. The Fixed Assets & Overheads Analyst is responsible for processing journal transactions, executing month-end processes and preparing balance sheet reconciliations to ensure reliable, timely and accurate information is provided to key stakeholders.
Ad hoc duties include answering audit queries (internal and external) and answering fixed asset and overhead queries. It is important that this person has a good grounding in double entry accounting and is part qualified. Experience in Control and/or commercial roles gained within hospitality is desirable.
