WHAT YOU’LL DO
We are currently recruiting for a Financial Planning and Analysis Supervisor to be based in Alameda, CA supporting the Abbott Lytehouse Biowearables (ALB)Â organization, part of Abbott Diabetes Care (ADC).

This key FP&A / Finance appointment will partner and support the Commercial functions by creating financial models to be used in the build-up of the Sales Forecasts and Scenario Planning for this Business and its (new) product portfolio.
In addition to leading the Sales Forecasting process, this role will also provide budget support for Marketing and other Commercial functions for each planning and actuals cycle. Additionally, partner with and coordinate with the EMEA ADC Commercial Finance team to help set up backend infrastructure to support new product launches as the ALB team launches new products.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Facilitate and help develop the sales and SG&A forecast for Abbott Lytehouse Biowearables for Plan, Latest Best Forecast (LBE), and Long Range Planning
Support month-end actuals and variance analysis
Ensures completeness and accuracy of the financial submissions.
Interpret financial results and recommend options based upon analysis of data and information.
Contributes to the strategic planning process by providing baseline information and financial support to non-financial managers.
Establishes partnerships within the Abbott Lytehouse Biowearables Commercial Team, EMEA Finance, Demand Planning and Operations Finance to acquire and/or provide relevant information
Responds to ad hoc financial requests from the Business and stakeholders
Identify meaningful analytics including trend analyses, that can be gleaned from rLBE submissions that can be presented to Financial leadership to help ensure forecast accuracy and identify areas for potential improvement within the P&L.
Operates with a significant amount of autonomy, works independently, and proactively navigates the division network to accomplish goals/tasks
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE YOU’LL BRING
REQUIRED:
Bachelors Degree (preferably in finance or accounting), or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
Minimum 5 years of Financial experience demonstrating a progressive level of responsibility.
PREFERRED:
Masters Degree or CPA desired.
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
Strong verbal and written communications with ability to effectively communicate at multiple levels in the organization
