Job Summary

Reporting to the Manager, Finance you will contribute to our organization by completing financial, operational, and compliance reviews throughout the business. You will perform complex financial analysis for assigned areas and present recommendations to leadership and mentor associate and new team members.

Position Responsibilities

  • Demonstrate competencies in areas of general controls, project management, critical thinking, problem solving, relationship building and teamwork.
  • Identify process and organizational risks and recommend appropriate controls using inquiry, observations, complex data analytics and re-performance.
  • Prepare and deliver communications to all areas of the business.
  • Assist department leads in the planning phases of audit engagements.
  • Help develop associate and new team members by training, mentoring and leading by example.
  • Prepare and edit supporting documentation (workpapers, noted observations, recommendations and management action plans) for review by department leadership.
  • Participate in learning to include training on department, company and industry knowledge, technical skills, diversity and inclusion, communication and teamwork.
  • Participate in department projects to improve internal processes and ensure professional standards are maintained.

Position Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology or similar field is required.
  • Advanced degree or certification preferred (CPA, CIA, CISA, CIPP, CISSP)
  • Knowledge of or aptitude to learn one or more IT audit areas of specialty (i.e., application security, business continuity and disaster recovery, implementation, computer operations, database administration, information security and privacy, mainframe, network) 
  • Minimum 3 years professional internal or external audit experience is preferred
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting, audit and analytical tools
  • The ability to work as part of an agile, fast-paced and highly motivated team
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred
  • Ability to travel 20% of the time
  • At this time, we require applicants for this role to be legally authorized to work in the United States without requiring employer sponsorship either now or in the future
