As a Financial Analyst III you will be working in a collaborative, dynamic, and creative environment. You will have the opportunity to work across the organization, engaging in a consultant like influencing role, while focusing on delivering interactive value-add digital solutions. You will be a key contributor delivering exceptional support services to Fidelity business partners. This position will primarily support the Personal Investing Business Unit with visibility in other Business Units as well (Ent. Tech, FREC, Global Services). Your time will be a blend of preparing reports while focusing on alternative digital solution and becoming that Personal Investing Business Unit SME.
The Expertise and Skills You Bring
A bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or related field required
3+ years of professional experience in Financial Services; previous Personal Investing Business Unit, strongly desired
High level proficiency in metric driven reporting with expertise within the PI business unit
Experience in crafting digital reporting using various tech tools (Tableau, Power BI, Alteryx, SQL, DOMO, etc.)
Experience with translating large datasets to digital outputs
Combine a strategic business perspective with strong analytical research skill, project management, and problem-solving skills
Demonstrate strong intellectual curiosity with a strong work ethic able to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent written and verbal communication skills including ability to “tell the storyâ€, influence skills while showing confidence and empathy
Motivated associate with proven leadership qualities and ability to mentor others
Ability to manage and prioritize multiple detailed processes in a time sensitive environment, independence of thought, willingness to take accountability and problem solve
The Value You Deliver
You will consult with business partners to understand their current reporting, data sources and transformation requirements to build/deliver impactful yet intuitive digital solutions
You bring good interpersonal skills, including a con-do attitude that allows you to work effectively with a wide variety of business partners
You will become an authority and provide support and consultation to others in the COE
Ensuring proper controls, documentation and reviews are in place for reporting and ad hoc to alleviate risks
You will be partnering with businesses to ensure the information the COE delivers provides them visibility into key metrics and trends
Preparation of reporting for various Fidelity business partners, including analysis, ad hoc supporting, and offering consultant like enhancements
How Your Work Impacts the Organization
The Financial Analyst III will be a team player in the COE providing an evolving suite of services encompassing value-added reporting and analytics using innovative tools, and processes to drive continuous improvement in the decision making of leaders across the firm.
