Job Description:
A Financial Analyst role that will develop a deep knowledge of the Fidelity Brokerage Technology (FBT) business group. This role will provide Financial, Planning and Analysis (FP&A) support including owning the monthly financial close process, creating financial reporting, analysis, and key insights to share with our leadership teams. This person will assist with the multi-year and annual planning process (MYP and Budget). This role will also participate with the integration to a new enterprise wide costing environment NGAV (Next Generation of Allocated Views) and TBM (Technology Business Management).
The Team
FBT Finance is a key group under the Funds, Brokerage, Operations and Technology (FBOT) organization. FBT provides development for a multitude of fidelity businesses including Retail, Clearing and Custody, Capital Markets, Plynk, and a variety of other businesses. Responsibilities of the group include FP&A for Technology professionals who manage over $600M of technology expense, Cloud Analysis, Workforce capacity planning, Strategic support for CIO, financial reporting, and ad hoc analysis. In supporting these critical parts of the business, the team has broad exposure to and influence on business decisions and processes.
The Expertise You Have
A bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or equivalent; MBA or advance degree a plus
2+ years of professional experience in Finance with a successful track record of in financial modeling and analysis
Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to envision the "big picture" while maintaining close attention to detail
Ability to learn quickly to understand key business unit drivers and business models. Role requires strong interpersonal skills to work closely with business unit and other finance teams
Ability to work independently and solve a variety of moderately complex problems
Professional maturity and presence to effectively interact with senior management
Ability to create financial models, conduct scenario analysis, understand and assess options.
Demonstrate confidence in explaining, defending and/or challenging analytical findings
The Value You Deliver
Proficient in Excel, PowerPoint, Essbase, and FCAP. Experience with Tableau and PowerBI a plus. Understanding of costing models will help with TBM migration. Well organized with data and able to maintain data integrity.
Develop new finance modernization capabilities of enterprise-wide Next Generation of Allocated Views (NGAV).
Support the monthly close process, multi-year and annual plan. Prepare analysis for expense and cost savings opportunities.
Contribute to creation of Executive Level Presentations that bring out insights clearly and concisely.
Project and collaborative work to redesign, enhance current Development Portfolio process.
Partner with other Finance teams on cross-BU initiatives.
