Job Description:
This Financial Analyst III role is a member of the finance team that supports PI’s Wealth Management and Digital Advice business, delivering impactful and insightful financial analysis to business partners. The primary objective of the role will be to develop and support a broad range of analytics, financial management, and strategic business partner support to drive improved outcomes and financial results to the broader organization. You will be responsible for supporting a Senior Director in consultative analytics and executive level recommendations for key strategic priorities across many of the Wealth Management and Digital Advice businesses including the teams responsible for Planning and Advice Services and Platforms, Cash Management, Lending, Fixed Income, Wealth Planning and Financial solutions. Projects will range from short term ad-hoc deliverables to long term projects that could span 3-6 months. In addition, you will be supporting the business performance management, annual planning, and goal setting for these teams. In this line finance role, you will partner closely with the product areas and squad leads across the organization.
The Expertise We’re Looking For
Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
2+ years of professional experience in Finance
Solid knowledge of financial tools (Excel, Essbase, PowerPoint, and Anaplan) and financial modeling.
Applicants must have outstanding analytical, communication, conceptual thinking

The Value You Deliver
Developing financial analysis and reporting of BU expenses including periodic reporting and analysis as well as month-end close processing and variance analysis, forecasting, budgeting, and related business commentary.
Supporting ongoing and ad-hoc analysis and develop recommendations, including scenario analysis.
Evaluating and improving existing data gathering tools and spreadsheets and method of delivery.
Being a team player.
Proactive partnership and communication with business and Finance partners
Using tools and business knowledge to continuously provide insightful information, reporting and analytics that evolve with changes in the business

As a member of the Personal Investing Finance team, you will be responsible for providing senior management with insightful, action-oriented financial analysis to guide effective decision-making that impacts Fidelity’s clients and associates. This role will be key in supporting Finance’s efforts in the growth and development of the business.
