Job Summary

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will perform moderately complex financial analysis, present recommendations to management, and identify and investigate issues related to assigned projects. You will be a strong cross functional partner. Responsibilities include managing innovation product financials, quarterly forecasting, period close, annual operation plan (AOP), and metrics/scorecarding. Minimum 3 years related experience.

Position Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive financial analysis and models for requests related to product development, customer analysis, competitive analysis, and pricing.
  • Lead development of P&Ls for new product launches working cross functionally to gather inputs, vet assumptions, and provide recommendations on projects.
  • Partner with cross functional teams to assess business needs as well as resolve risks and opportunities in a timely manner.
  • Update the quarterly forecast based on business changes.  Communicate changes to business partners by providing specific, actionable and forward-looking commentary on the changes and guidance on potential risk.
  • Participate in month-end/quarter-end close activities to ensure completion of assigned tasks, including identification and resolution of unusual items and issues.
  • Evaluate and provide periodic metrics, scorecards and reports
  • Provide FP&A support as needed and participate in finance wide-projects depending on business needs

Position Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance required
  • 3+ years of professional general business and financial experience
  • Experience in P&L management, along with knowledge of financial systems and general accounting concepts.
  • Ability to develop strong relationships and partnerships with internal customers, peers and manage those relationships.
  • Experience working across multiple departments to complete a project or resolve an organizational challenge.
  • Demonstrated critical thinking skills, including leveraging analytics, benchmarking, and insights to generate meaningful strategies and solutions.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
  • Experience with SAP or other software tools preferred.
