About the Job
Our Finance team is looking for an intern to assist in our day-to-day operations for the External manufacturing plants. We are looking for candidates who show great aptitude/willingness to learn quickly on the job, demonstrate strong analytical skills, have the ability to multitask, have the flexibility to manage a variety of responsibilities that may change frequently and who can think creatively to generate ideas that will improve efficiencies in our Finance function.
Roles and Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Calculate material requirements based on the production planned volume
Analyze variances for finished products from external manufacturers
Coordinate bi-annual physical inventory at external manufacturing, follow up for discrepancies and document the results
Coordinate monthly meeting with engineering team
Reconcile Fixed asset inventory reconcile and document results per the schedule
Coordinate with external manufacturers for scrap order destruction certificates
Coordinate Quarterly volumes for key materials from external manufacturers
Support on adhoc requests
Requirements
Minimum 3.0 GPA; working toward Supply Chain, Finance, Business Analytics, or Industrial Engineering Undergraduate Degree
Ideal candidate would be in the 2nd semester of Junior year or the 1st semester of Senior year
Strong interpersonal, communication, and analytical skills
Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word is required with Access and Tableau preferred
Demonstrated ability to work as a team player
Ability to manage multiple priorities and schedule demands
Ability to collaborate and work using Google tools
