We are now looking for a finance & payroll assistant to support our administrative workload and to develop new processes and procedures. Our Belgium team consists of 60 IT consultants who are responsible for developing, consulting and maintaining our customers' systems and helping them in their journey of digitalization. Our goal is to expand towards 250 consultants. The role of a Finance & Payroll Assistant at Solita As a Finance & payroll assistant you will be at the heart of the companyhelping us to develop sustainable processes which will allow us to grow. You will work closely with our accountant, our country director and other colleagues supporting the day to day operations. • Prepare balance sheets • Track and reconcile bank statements • Create cost analysis reports (fixed and variable costs) • Process tax payments • Support monthly payroll and keep organized records • Provide administrative support for HR processes • Record accounts payable and accounts receivable • Be a back up in the invoicing process: Process invoices and follow up with clients, suppliers and partners as needed • Develop procedures and processes where needed, analyze existing processes and propose improvements or other ways of working What We're Looking For In a New Colleague • Knowledge of French or Dutch and English • Working experience as a Finance Assistant, payroll assistant or similar role • Good knowledge of accounting and bookkeeping procedures • Advanced MS Excel skills (creating spreadsheets and using financial functions) • Experience with enterprise management systems, e.g. Workday • Organizational and time management skills • Attention to detail, with an ability to spot numerical errors • BSc degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics This position can either be done fulltime, ⅘ or ⅗, we will adapt the job content in line with your needs and interests.
