What you’ll be doing:

• understanding the functionality and configurability of the Capita software products on which consultancy is to be provided including links to other Capita modules and interface to third party software systems

• understanding the functionality and configurability of third-party products on which consultancy is to be provided, ensuring correct installation and configuration for customers

• understanding the business requirements of customers, both Local Authority and Housing Association in relation to application of Capita products and third-party products to provide business solutions

• liaising with senior management at customer premises and discussing the business process and how the Capita solution will meet the requirement

• providing support to customers using Capita product application software, as required

• contributing to the preparation of a Customer Implementation Plan in co-operation with the nominated Capita Project Manager once a customer contract is signed

• applying Capita product application software to meet customer business processes in line with the customer requirement in the Capita contract

• working with the customer on the set-up of module parameters in Capita products to meet their requirements

• ensuring that the implementation of Capita products is successfully completed within the project timescales and is signed-off as accepted by the customer

• providing advice and guidance to Capita and customer staff on the use of nominated Capita product application software

• agreeing the objectives for the training day(s) to be carried out at the customer site, through liaison with the Capita Project Manager, and the customer Project Manager and conducting the training

• testing new developments and patch releases of Open Financials and Ebis as required by Capita

• supporting with Pre Sales activities

What we’re looking for:

Essential

• Fully Qualified Accountant

• Experience with Module set up in Open Financials/Accounts and Ebis including System Admin, General Ledger Accounts payable and invoice register, accounts receivable and sales invoicing, cash book and sundry payments, fixed assets

• Working knowledge of the Social Housing Finance 

• Experience in the Social Housing sector

• Finance and accountancy knowledge

Desirable

• Proven Implementation of Open Financials/Accounts implementation

• Training of End Users
