Amazon Europe seeks an experienced commercial Financial Analyst to join our fast growing grocery team in UK Fresh (online). Based in the London office, the UK Finance Analyst will work closely with Retail finance stakeholders and business partners to deliver ambitious growth plans, driving our profitability roadmap and helping to shape business strategy over the long-term. The key responsibilities of the UK Finance Analyst include:

- Providing analytical support to the UK Fresh business on all short and long-term growth strategies.

- Leading the evaluation of key cross-functional projects with stakeholders across Vendor / In-stock / Project Management, GSF and Ops finance.

- Support building top-line growth plans for UK Fresh including future expansion, identifying risk / opportunities and recommendations on how to manage.

- Ongoing controllership, performance management and analysis of key business metrics and trends.

- Determine the key interventions the business unit needs to be successful, aligning management and driving delivery.

- The successful candidate will also be expected to develop subject matter expertise on key areas of the online retail model to deliver international wide projects.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

- Strong academic background with a minimum of 3+ years' experience.
- Robust analytical & modelling skills required.
- A fluency in standard software including Excel, PowerPivot etc.
- Possess strong communication and persuasion skills.
- Has a superior attention to detail.
- Must be comfortable working in cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of SQL and a self-serve environment.
- Can successfully manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously and work to tight deadlines.
- Ability to simplify and improve inefficient or complex processes.
- Able to operate at all levels, by staying connected to the details as well as being able to step back and see the bigger picture.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

- Finance experience from Grocery, Retail or FMCG companies within an international environment.
