Finance Analyst – GP Stock

THE ROLE

 The Finance Analyst – GP Stock plays a key role within the Finance department.  The Finance Analyst – GP Stock is responsible for our Stock reporting and month end processes.  The Finance Analyst – GP Stock sits within the Trading Finance team and will be working closely with business stakeholders to support the business is making the right decisions.

Our finance team controls the cash within the business and also provides support to the business to help it make decisions to lead us to being a global online fashion destination.

You will be… 

• Responsible for weekly and monthly reporting on various stock positions – circulated outside of Finance to Supply Chain and Retail
• Responsible for month end postings and commentary, to be provided to Finance Manager and Senior Leadership Team
• Identifying process improvements in stock reporting areas and new business initiatives
• Completing stock-related balance sheet reconciliations
• Ad hoc project work as ASOS continues to grow

• Ability to multi-task and must be well organized; attention to detail; high level of accuracy; ability to meet established deadlines; ability to work under pressure; ability to work independently with minimum supervision
• Ability to collaborate and work in a fast-paced environment, adapting to rapid change
• Strong relationship skills and ability to build strong internal relationships
• Preferably part way through finance qualification
