As Field Specialist you will be executing the operations of ESP equipment, SPS (Surface Pumping Systems) equipment and all associated surface equipment in the field, complying with all the integrity / quality and safety standards, as well as compliance with the regulations of the different clients in all fields.
 

As a Field  Specialist - Artificial Lift, you will be responsible for:

• Under general supervision performs installation/pulling of Electrical Submersible Pumps (ESP) and associated equipment in offshore and onshore oil and water wells.
• May be required to work unsupervised.
• Assists with monitoring, trouble shooting and testing downhole ESP equipment in order to maximize well productivity and ESP run life.
• The position involves frequent travel on domestic or international assignments and time away from home, often at short notice. Handles special projects as assigned.
• Conducts all business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements and Baker Hughes Core Values.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Basic Computer skills
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs
• Strong mechanical or electrical aptitude
• Must be willing to work in adverse weather conditions
• Must be at least 21 years of age

Desired Characteristics:

• Two year Technical Degree preferred
• Electrical background is strongly preferred
• Willingness to a team player
• Experience working with MS Excel
• CDL – Class A
• Previous experience in field specialist role
• Good communication skills and leadership skills
• Ability to multitask
• Strong organization skills
