The Naval Facilities Engineering Command (NAVFAC) Anti-Terrorism/Force Protection (AT/FP) Ashore Program’s mission is to design, procure, integrate, install and sustain the systems/equipment hardware, associated firmware, and software required to provide the ability to protect mission-critical assets and personnel from natural disasters, acts of terrorism and other human-caused disasters. The NAVFAC AT/FP Ashore Sustainment Program is executed by the NAVFAC AT/FP Ashore Program Management Office (PMO), NAVFAC Expeditionary Warfare Center (EXWC) and NAVFAC regional Facilities Engineering Commands (FECs). The primary goal of the NAVFAC AT/FP Ashore Sustainment Program is to provide both preventive and corrective maintenance services to Navy installations as required to sustain NAVFAC AT/FP Ashore Program Systems in accordance with their operational requirements.This is a telecommute position, but you will be required to report onsite daily. Work is generally performed onsite where working conditions may vary. This is a part-time position is based out of Guantanamo Bay, CubaIn this role, you will:• Installs, troubleshoots, and maintains products/equipment including alarms, naval munitions, giant voice, cameras, intrusion detection, emergency operation centers, regional dispatch centers, gates, wide area alert, indoor voice, enterprise land mobile radio, dispatch activities, and support for regional and emergency operation centers as needed.• Trains employees, identifies, analyzes, and repairs product failures, orders and replaces parts as needed.• Will be relied upon to determine and recommend which products or services best fit the customers' needs QualificationsTo be successful in this role, you will have:• 1-2 years of experience in the field.• The ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret level clearance. Position requires the ability to access confidential/classified areas. Additional desired experience and skills:• Local to the Guantanamo Bay area in Cuba.• Experience with access gates and associated hardware, software, systems, and manufacturers including one of the following:• Sentry Interface• CCTV• License Plate Readers• Lenel• Card Readers• Bollards• Barriers• Hydraulics• Access Control Logic• Delta• Nasatka• Autogate
