We’re looking for exceptional Field Service Managers to join the Carpetright family, as one of our proud faces, and become part of something special as we move forward and look to the future.

How you’ll play your part It’s exciting times for us; we’re embarking on a step change in the way we deliver in-home services for our customers and we’re looking for individuals who are comfortable in helping the team to transition to a new way of working. Clearly to be successful in something like this, you’ll need to be adaptable, action orientated, calm, pragmatic. and able to flex as we learn. Confidence is key as you’ll lead from the front coaching, motivating and driving your team to consistently provide exceptional in-home customer experiences whilst ensuring targets are met. We’re looking for individuals to deliver commercial success by helping others to connect with customers through a combination of selling and service. You’ll be hands on with your team in customer’s homes observing them and feeding back on their performance, delivering on the job coaching and role modelling great behaviours. Your team will be distributed across a wide geographic area, so aside from your regular ride-alongs, you’ll be remote managing, and driving and challenging performance, as well as being the communication hub and ensuring everyone feels they’re part of a team despite the independent nature of their work. You’ll be naturally curious, learning more about your team and their specific needs as you help them develop and grow in their newly shaped role.

What you’ll need We can get you up to speed with our amazing products and services. What we’ll need from you is the ability to motivate and develop your team, setting and driving standards of performance. To do that you’ll have a proven background in leading a remote team (preferably one that operates within the customers home) and field leadership gained in a sales and service environment. You’ll need to be comfortable with assimilating, analysing and interpreting data as well as communicating and influencing across various levels. Other key requirements:

• A full UK driving licence & the ability to cover a wide geographic area in the UK • A demonstrable interest in interior design • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently • Organised, and able to prioritise for self and team • A “can-do” approach to solving problems
