As a Field Engineer (Wireline Services) for Mount Pleasant, MI you will be overseeing the daily operations of your team, located onsite throughout the assigned region. You will provide technical guidance and insight to support the delivery of multiple customer projects globally. You will play an essential role in identifying improvements to products, processes and procedures.
As a Field Engineer (Wireline Services) for Mount Pleasant, MI, you will be responsible for:
Effectively prepares, manages and runs a service unit ensuring the unit is maintained in an operational and presentable condition
Works with Customer Representative and drill crew on location to coordinate operations with the rig and or production facility
Provide a record of all assemblies as run to the Customer Representative at the well-site
Advises Customer Representative in the logging and completions operation, interpreting logging data, troubleshooting, and other well-site analysis and decision-making processes. Supervises crew and equipment at the well-site and at the shop to provide specific logging and completions services
Responsible for the maintenance of equipment and facility
Assists with training of assigned personnel in completions operations and maintenance. Promotes and maintains good customer relations
Perform all required responsibilities safely and as described in Managing Base Operations, Managing Well Operations, and Managing Equipment and Logistics manuals
Performs other related duties as required
Conducts all business activities in accordance with Baker Hughes HSE policies, Legal Compliance requirements and Baker Hughes Core Values

To be successful in this role you will:
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree Engineering or Applied Science
1+ year of Oil and Gas experience in Wireline Services
Basic computer skills with the Microsoft Office (WORD, EXCEL, POWERPOINT, OUTLOOK)
Proficient in running multiple applications of logging programs in the Wireline product line with a basic understanding of applications in other product lines
Ability to work and communicate well with cross-functional teams
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Petroleum Engineering
