Job purpose

BorgWarner PowerDrive Systems is currently looking for â€œdynamic, results driven” individual to join as a Failure Analysis Engineer.  The Failure Analysis Engineer will be performing failure analysis for electronics products.

Key responsibilities

• Determining cause of part problems using various types of test equipment
• Preparing and performing cross-sectioning of product samples
• Performing basic electrical testing of products
• Participating in problem solving activities
• Developing improved failure analysis techniques for new product technology
• Communicating results both verbally and in writing

What we’re looking for

• Bachelor of Science in Engineering or related Science field
• Mechanical and/or Materials background preferred
• Minimum 1 year of Electronics Failure Analysis experience or educational equivalent; preference will be given to those with 3+ years’ experience in this area
• Familiar with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint or equivalent
