Job Description

Oversee and coordinate Facilities personnel responsible for the maintenance and repair of electrical, plumbing, HVAC and other building systems.

Principal Duties and Responsibilities:

The following duties are typical for this classification. All duties may not be performed and/or additional duties may be added to address business needs.

Essential Functions:

• Plan, prioritize, assign, review and participate in the work of Facilities personnel.
• Provide direction and guidance to personnel in the correct procedures to repair equipment and materials used to complete required maintenance.
• Schedule and plan work orders and preventive maintenance to complete job assignments within target deadlines.
• Identify resource needs and allocate accordingly.
• Monitor and control supplies and equipment; order supplies and tools as necessary; prepare requisition for materials and/or supplies purchase.
• Train personnel in preventive maintenance, technical procedures and safety inspection of all equipment repairs.
• Coordinate and communicate the repair and maintenance activities with other site operations to reduce or prevent downtime.
• Improve key maintenance parameters such as maintenance cost, PM and schedule compliance to reduce operating costs.
• Attend and participate in group meetings
• Investigate complaints and recommend corrective action as necessary for resolution.
• Maintain safety, health and environmental policies and procedures and report unsafe working conditions.
• Be an active participant in the site safety program, to include LOTO employee audits, PIV training and respirator fit testing.

Minimum Requirements

Minimum Education and/or Experience Requirements

• High School Diploma / GED
• Minimum of five years experience in the repair and maintenance of a production facility and its related equipment.
• Must be authorized to work in the US.

Computer Skills

• Intermediate skills with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Basic skills in Maximo software
• Basic Metasys skills
