Job Description

Summary

If you enjoy being part of a team which cares for and maintains glorious historic properties, keeping them well maintained and an attractive tourist location, this role would be perfect for you.

The property is open 7 days per week, 363 days of the year and we are especially busy over Easter, Rose Season (mid-May-mid July), half term holidays and Christmas. There will be a requirement to work some weekends and bank holidays to support the property during our busy times. Preferred working days are Monday to Wednesday, but we will consider other working patterns.

What it's like to work here

Located in the idyllic riverside gardens, between ancient trees, bubbling brooks and rolling lawns Mottisfont is full of surprises. Full of art, and featuring a colorful garden year round, Mottisfont is a popular visitor attraction and the team are always on hand to provide a fantastic experience for all. Mottisfont is home to a beautiful riverside garden offering a sensory treat with glorious old-fashioned roses which are also left to produce ornamental fruit in autumn and winter. The wider estate within South West Hampshire includes several thousand acres of woodland, heathlands, chalk grasslands, farmland, with 7 additional visitor carparks and miles of relaxing walks.
