Help build the best fighter combat training devices. Training & Professional Services (T&PS) within Boeing Global Services (BGS).  F-15 Training Device Acquisition and Support (TDAS) is seeking a fighter crew chief to help conduct system design, integration, and test for F-15 Maintenance Training Devices (MTDs).  In order to be considered for this position, a candidate Subject Matter Expert (SME) must have maintenance experience in high-performance combat jet aircraft, preferably the F-15.

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at Hazelwood, MO.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Analyzes and develops solutions to complex technical problems associated with support, analysis and modification of flight simulators and data.
  • Resolves programmatic and technical problems affecting cost, schedule and performance of flight simulators.
  • Researches and resolves complex flight simulator operations issues, service problems and regulatory qualification concerns.
  • Provides customer assistance to support the introduction of new training equipment.
  • Reviews analysis and evaluation of specialized engineering and supplier aircraft systems and performance data, operational documents and software for delivery to customer.
  • Ensures compliance with customer, company and regulatory requirements and standards.
  • Works under general direction.

This position requires an active Secret U.S. Security Clearance. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience in any military aircraft maintenance
  • Associate\'s degree or higher

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience working with F-15 or a comparable fighter aircraft
  • Fighter avionics experience highly desired
  • Bachelor\'s degree or higher

Typical Education/ Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Associates) or typically 5 or more years\' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Bachelors +3 years\' related work experience). In the USA, ABET accreditation is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
