We have an exciting opportunity to work at our Extra Care Housing Unit, St John’s Court in Farnborough. Extra Care is sometimes known as Assisted Living. It allows people to live comfortably in their own flat, with the added benefit of a care team on site. We provide the same exceptional care as we would in a client’s home, but it’s one place of work rather than working in the community.

About this role

As a Care & Support Worker, you will enable the elderly to live as independently as possible in their own individual flats located within one large building on a shared communal site. This could include support with meals, medication, companionship, housekeeping duties, responding to emergencies, and personal care (assisting with toilet breaks, washing, dressing and other aspects that are a part of a daily routine).

Working hours

We have a mix of shift patterns available between 7:00 AM and 9:00 PM, Monday to Sunday. You will be required to work alternate weekends.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Work experience in the healthcare sector is preferred, but not essential as full training will be provided. All applicants will need to complete an enhanced DBS check and must be able to speak English on a conversational level.
