This position can be based at any of our Fulfilment Centres across England and remote working is also an option. Occasional travel will be required to the Midlands and Northern England.

Here at Amazon we are currently looking for a highly motivated Logistics Specialist for our External Fulfillment Organization based in a UK FC
The selected candidate will work as a support to the 3PL Operations Team, reporting to the IT&UK Operations Manager and will perform administrative activities related to operations management.
The selected candidate will have the opportunity to deal with daily tasks related to the 3PL's performance and will also have the chance to work on ad-hoc projects, new implementations and to draft ideas leading to optimization and streamlining.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
• Support in the management of daily operations of third party logistics (3PL)
• Analysis and monitoring of the main metrics and take corrective actions
• Use of Ops tools to provide the necessary information for analysis and daily reports & metrics
• Communications continued by mail / telephone / face-to-face meetings with External Partners, the UK and European Operations Team
• Resolution of operational problems in the flows to/from External Service Providers
• Resolution of problems that may require working onsite as a supervisor or auditor of the operations
• Acting as a point of contact through the communication between Operations and related parties, such as Supply Chain, Retail and Transportation teams.
• Writing & Speaking fluently in English
• MS Office knowledge, particularly in Excel
• Be familiar with the general use of computer tools
• Having autonomy, initiative and proactive approach in solving problems
• Strong sense of responsibility and taking action, maintaining an ethical, fair and reliable behavior in all situations
• Bachelor's degree
• Office suite Certification
• Operational experience and Industrial Engineering know how is a plus.
• Willingness to learn Operations and Supply Chain will also add more value to application
Italian as second language is a plus
