Would you like to be part of a creative, dynamic, and exciting team who engage with visitors from across the world? We have a unique opportunity to shape and create unique, exciting, and sustainable experiences and partnerships at Giant’s Causeway and Carrick-a-Rede. Are you an inspirer of people, do you have the vision and ability to bring people along? Are you a champion of visitor experience and tapping into the potential of people and place?
You’ll be working at both Giant’s Causeway and Carrick-a-Rede: Flanked by the wild North Atlantic Ocean and a landscape of dramatic cliffs, for centuries the Giant’s Causeway has inspired artists, stirred scientific debate, and captured the imagination of all who see it.
Connected to the cliffs by a rope bridge across the Atlantic Ocean, Carrick-a-Rede offers fantastic views of Rathlin Island, Scotland and the Causeway Coast. The rope bridge is suspended almost 30m above sea level and was first erected by salmon fishermen over 250 years ago so there are lots of exciting stories to share with our visitors.
This is a key role that can make a real difference to visitor experience and commercial success. It provides a wonderful opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a hard-working team who set and achieve ambitious targets
As the Experience and Visitor Programming Manager you will be a member of the Property Leadership Team, helping set and deliver the future direction for Giant’s Causeway and Carrick-a-Rede properties. You will be responsible for engaging the visitor prior to visiting the property through our media and marketing and having a clear vision on how we introduce a compelling programme at the property which is both environmentally and commercially sustainable. You’ll also be part of the Duty Manager team ensuring that our places are set up to deliver a seamless experience for our visitors. You will have specific responsibility for joining up the dots of programming, partnership, marketing and volunteering in order to deliver on the portfolio’s spirit of place.
