If you\'re curious about design systems and like solving for challenges that extend across multiple products and platforms, this is an opportunity to collaborate with product designers across Adobe to make a big impact on our creative tooling.Â
Adobe Design is seeking a forward-thinking Sr. Experience Designer to join the Unified Experience team. We are working to improve interoperability and continuity across products to help Adobe customers get the maximum value from their Creative Cloud subscription.Â
What you\'ll doÂ
You\'ll be helping to define Adobe\'s shared design patterns and define a new class of experience standards that span desktop, mobile and web products. Working with designers and teams across the company, you\'ll identify inconsistencies that interrupt the creative flow and craft cohesive solutions to replace them. You will lead design explorations and partner with research to unlock our creative tooling for a larger audience.Â

In this role, you will:Â
Find opportunities to build simplicity out of complexity and unity out of discrepancy.Â
Explore design ideas via sketches, storyboards, wireframes, and prototypes. Use feedback and research to refine and iterate towards product objectives. Pair strong communication skills with a user-centered perspective in order to influence and persuade.Â
Work closely with senior designers and product teams to bring new approaches and unifying experiences to our creative system. Â
What you\'ll need to succeedÂ
Must-Haves:Â
A minimum of 5 years of industry experience in product design with a proven track record of success.Â
College degree or equivalent practical experience in design with an emphasis on graphic design, HCI, or related design field.Â
Experience solving complex design and technology problems using systems thinking.Â
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate a multi-level problem space and the strategy behind design decisions.Â
Creative and analytical skills to advocate for and support research, synthesize, and communicate insights that encourage design opportunities and product strategy.Â
Passion for understanding how creative people do what they do and how technology plays a role in the creative process.Â
Nice-to-Haves:Â
Prior experience crafting design strategy for platform experiences and design systems.Â
Deep knowledge and passion for accessible and inclusive design.Â
Experience working with existing research, conducting your own research, communicating results, and acting on those results.Â
