The Executive Director, WW Oncology Commercial Strategy and Forecasting is a thought-partner for Oncology Commercial leadership who provides strategic guidance and data-driven insights to help shape the most critical therapeutic-area decisions. This critical leader who leverages disruptive and strategic thinking to engineer greater Commercial success, improves value to our patients, and impacts the future development strategies across the Oncology teams, in support of multiple senior leaders and ensures that we chart an achievable path forward for the therapeutic areas. The role will partner (along with the US/WW department lead) to enable various LT members to shape the internal/external company ‘narrative’ by providing the right insights to formalize effective & strategic “talking-pointsâ€
This leader will serve as a key integration point for the synthesis & alignment of US & ex-US forecasts into WW views of the various portfolio outcome scenarios and provide real-time scenario assessments around the evolving internal/external environments for the >50 potential future indication launches across the Oncology pipeline. They will establish aspirational yet defendable revenue expectations for the Oncology Portfolio (over 200 individual opportunities), ensure full transparency around global TA business risks & opportunities, and identify actionable levers to activate upside Commercial potential. Additionally, this role is responsible to establish a single-source of consolidated TA ‘Commercial truth’, through a disciplined and consistent approach to seamlessly integrating Forecasting, Competitive Intelligence & Market Research insights – leading to actionable scenario-planning of potential outcomes.
The Executive Director, WW Oncology Commercial Strategy and Forecasting will maximize worldwide TA-specific Commercial launch success and optimize go-to-market strategies by enabling enterprise-wide sharing of key launch learnings and best-practices while also partner with the broader BI&A organization to create and promote a global culture of diversity & inclusion, develop exciting insight & analytic career paths, and ensure appropriate levels of technical capability and subject matter expertise exists across all levels/functions/geographies .
