The opportunity
EY is looking for a Consultant in the Assurance Analytics COE Team. Our national practice assists audit teams in performing data analytics and visualization as a part of statutory audits.
Your key responsibilities
- Foundational analytics in areas such as Journal entry testing, NPA analytics, Consumer/Mortgage lending analysis, Premium/Commission recomputation, Interest rate analysis, Fuzzy testing, Profit/Loss on sale of investments
- Sector specific analytics (Advanced/Custom analytics)
- Visualization
- Automated analytics model development for statutory audit enablements
- Data extraction from Client ERPs
- Design, review and rectify algorithms, systems and processes to analyze client data, as well as implement them in the appropriate tools and technologies
- Demonstrate teamwork and responsibility with engagement team members
Skills and attributes for success
Tools and techniques
- Hands on experience in analytics in FS sector
- Hands on experience in Machine Learning using R or Python with strong statistical background is the must
- Knowledge of databases, ETL, and hands on experience / theoretical knowledge in SQL
- Experience in any of the visualization tools like Tableau, Spotfire, Qlikview, etc.
- Knowledge and experience in ERP such as SAP and / or Oracle and data extraction
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (advanced Excel skills & Macros)
- Experience in NLP/ Web Scraping/ Log Analytics/ TensorFlow/ AI / Beautiful Soup
- Experience in Iron Python/JavaScript

To qualify for the role you must have
BE/B.Tech, MSC in Computer Science/Statistics, M.C.A with 3-6 years of relevant experience.
Ideally you'll also have
- Strong communication, facilitation, relationship-building, presentation and negotiation skills.
- Be highly flexible, adaptable, and creative.
- Comfortable interacting with senior executives (within the firm and at the client)
- Strong leadership skills and supervisory responsibility.
