Amazon is seeking an intuitive, trustworthy, customer-obsessed and self-motivated Executive Assistant to join its Student Programs team. As an Executive Assistant to our Director based in London, you’ll have the opportunity to work in partnership with global leaders, key business partners, and a solid team of other Executive Assistants. The ideal candidate will be detail oriented, and an experienced planner with the demonstrated ability to respond effectively and efficiently while maintaining flexibility and composure.
The individual in this role must understand business priorities, and proactively anticipate needs while driving process improvements for leadership teams. A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information as well as professionalism in dealing with senior executives inside and outside of the company is critical. The successful candidate will possess the ability to complete complex tasks autonomously, react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, and take effective action without having to know the whole picture. This position will also work closely with the hiring manager, and the Recruiting Engine team of Executive Assistants to facilitate key activities and projects across the organization. The ability to work independently and collaboratively with a strong sense of ownership, bias for action, and customer obsession is highly valued.
· Experience with Microsoft Office Products
· Experience with executive level calendar management
· Experience with domestic and/or international travel coordination
· Prior Professional experience
Key Responsibilities include:
-Calendar management and scheduling to support teams in multiple locations/time zones
-Ability to look around corners and anticipate needs or areas for improvement
-Act as a trusted business partner to Director and leadership teams
-Manage expense reports and future domestic/international travel
-Organize, execute, and assist with team activities (staff meeting agendas, all-hands meetings, off-sites, and team social events)
-Management of team space, including moves and re-configurations
-Work closely with the leadership teams, Recruiting, Finance, HR, and other Executive Assistants to provide support to the organization
-Have fun at work and help others do the same!
· Bachelor's degree
· 3+ yrs of experience with executive level support and calendar management across multiple leaders
· 2+ yrs of experience with event planning/coordination
· Project management experience in designing processes to maximize efficiency
· Space management experience
