Job Summary:

Seeking a candidate with exceptional delivery of assertive professionalism, a self-starter able to anticipate needs and handle confidential information, offer creativity to initiate enhancements and maximize work products, drive work products and showcase action-oriented follow-through, master technology and a variety of computer programs, be flexible with work schedule and meet impromptu demands, collaborate with and guide the administrative team, learn the labor relations business, grow and have fun in a constantly changing environment!

Responsibilities:

Provide administrative support and professional partnership with the Director, Global HR Operations, Business Process & Technical Integration in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment. Daily responsibilities include, but are not limited to, handle meeting inquires, orchestrate complex and evolving calendar management, prioritize and follow-through regarding critical departmental action items and project needs, prepare agendas, attend meetings to coordinate information and author weekly reports, establish all travel logistics and process expense reports, manage invoices, archive work product files, create and enhance documents, charts and presentations, administer supply ordering and activate VTC technology logistics. Additional responsibilities include providing assistance to direct reports and teams, back-up support for Executives, recognition events and serve on departmental committees.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Ability to work independently, anticipate needs, take initiative, proactively problem-solve using sound judgment and handle confidential and sensitive information
  • Proficient with technology in both VTC meeting coordination and computer skills including but not limited to Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio, SAP, Internet explorer and internet-based research
  • Strong organizational and follow-through skills, orderly and detail-oriented with ability to handle multiple work streams simultaneously, prioritize work and accurately and efficiently archive documents and work products
  • Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills to assure professional interaction with senior executives, internal partners and external contacts. Strong command of English grammar skills with an ability to prepare correspondence from notes, meetings and author documents and reports
  • Enthusiastic attitude, strong work ethic, flexibility, assertiveness and professionalism in an atmosphere where influencing, conflict resolution and interacting with partners and clients is primary and change is constant

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven knowledge of enterprise Disney culture, structure and HR practices
  • Administrative experience in a corporate environment with proven success interacting, partnering and networking with all levels of management, including executives (directors and vice presidents) in a fast-paced dynamic environment
  • Experience with Workday
  • Ability to work independently and as a part of a dynamic team

Required Education

  • High school diploma

Preferred Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
