The Position
As an Event Coordinator you will be supporting the planning and execution of Regional and National educational activities in close collaboration with our Regional Education Managers, Key Account Managers and District Managers. You will be a part of our newly established Customer Engagement Unit and report directly to the Customer Engagement Director. You will have a central role in the organisation and have responsibility for coordinating and organising virtual and physical business events, congresses, virtual roundtables, advisory board meetings, etc. Furthermore, you will also actively contribute to process improvements and other opportunities for increasing efficiency.
As an Event Coordinator, your primary responsibilities will include:
- Manage and coordinate virtual and physical field and business activities in close collaboration with our Regional Education Managers, Key Account Managers and District Managers and external agencies incl. invitations, registration and external contracts
- Manage all practicalities for national and international congresses and conferences, i.e. congress registrations, hotel bookings, etc.
- Drive support of digital solutions concerning events like registration websites
- Be the main contact person and ensure a good collaboration and cooperation with our internal and external stakeholders for excellent customer satisfaction
Our great office is located in Oslo, Nydalen and was recently both expanded and redecorated.
About you
Qualifications:
- You bring appropriate working experience in planning and organising business events and conferences, ideally from a pharmaceutical industry
- You also bring project and event management experience, including digital projects
- You have excellent digital skills in digital solutions, digital marketing channels, MS Office programmes and other IT systems
- You have excellent Norwegian and English language skills in both written and spoken
