Job summary
We are hiring a Continuous Improvement Technical Account Manager (TAM) PM in our EU Books team. You will support cross functional teams on their continuous improvement journey by guiding them through an understanding of process improvements methods to reduce waste. You will drive a continuous improvement culture by coordinating and facilitating Continuous Improvement Essentials activities in partnership with local business teams. Additionally, you will be responsible for fulfilling learning operations requirements of new hires and train existing business team members on new programs/updates and provide refresher training as required. The successful candidate will be able to perform critical thinking and problem solving – evaluating alternatives, and identifies solutions using systematic, multi-step approaches.
Job responsibilities:
· Develop continuous improvement charters, scopes of work, resourcing, plans, and schedules for continuous improvement programs.
· Engage with key stakeholders to assess internal operational processes to discover opportunities in reducing defects and driving continuous improvements.
· Enhance internal processes and develop and document Standard Operation Procedures (SOPs).
· Collaborate effectively with subject matter experts (SMEs) to develop and manage technical documentation.
· Design and develop training to fit the needs of the team. Plan, schedule and manage implementation of training sessions.
· Be the Voice of internal users and channel feedback to internal central tools teams to fill gaps and fully automate manual processes.
· Provide regular performance metrics report focusing on operational excellence and internal customer experience.
· Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent experience.
· Experience in identifying opportunities to simplify and/or automate complex processes.
· Experience administering and managing training/education programs or similar.
· Previous Kaizen/Continuous Improvement experience.
· Experience managing projects, demonstrating the ability to influence other teams to meet goals.
· Ability to develop innovative solutions that improve project performance and use cost-benefit analyses in decision-making.
· Experience creating and editing ancillary resources and communication for the purpose of knowledge transfer and skill development.
· Data entry or catalog management experience
· Ability to adapt well to fast-paced, yet ambiguous, environments with changing circumstances, direction, and strategy.
· Desire to thrive in a dynamic, growing environment.
