To work alongside the Regional Manager of the European operation on the harmonisation and development of the EU business. Enabling the Area Managers and Store Managers to deliver their potential and creating the bridge between Head office functions and the retail.
JOB DESCRIPTION
THE AMBITION
KEY RESULT AREAS AND COMPETENCIES:
1. OPERATIONS:
- Manage and administrate the harmonisation of Frasers Group process into EU
- Plan and prioritise workload to ensure a productive and efficient delivery of tasks, holding relevant departments to account
- Make confident decisions and liaise with the Area Managers and senior stakeholders
- Be accountable for all store compliance of process and procedures whilst maintaining a safe environment
- Train and coach the team to best practice and provide evidence of best practice through area/regional visits
- Use business communication tools such as Teams, one note, Store IQ, Air Table and Slack to oversee completion of tasks and meet deadlines
2. CONTROLS:
- Use reports to ensure wage controls are met on a weekly basis, resolving any issues quickly and effectively
- Plan store schedules in line with store trading patterns and business expectation
- Oversee the training Hub stores
- Asses the commerciality of store operations and advise on improvements
- Be organised and create structure in disciplines and controls
3. SALES:
- Understand business and customer expectation and motivate the EU team to deliver an excellent customer experience
- Understand assigned KPI targets and communicate these clearly to the EU team. Execute and actively track against these targets and motivate your team to deliver these results
- Understand the retail industry, business challenges, competitors and customers, with a strong commercial awareness
- Use reports to analyse and manage commerciality of key products to impact sales and profitability
4. DEVELOPMENT:
- Identify internal talent, use development opportunities and performance management processes to drive and reward exceptional performance
- Be self-driven in own personal development and take on developmental feedback constructively
- Create an environment that encourages and rewards performance fairly and equitably
- Understand and promote the Frasers Group core values and coach the team to engage with these values
- Engage the EU team and encourage them to feedback new ideas and contribute to the wider business
5. LEADERSHIP AND MANAGEMENT:
- Inspire the EU team and act as a role model
- Develop, coach and motive the EU team to achieve success, holding them accountable where appropriate
- Develop relationships with the EU team and ensure everyone is working to the same goals
- Work closely with the Regional Manager and contribute to the success of the EU region

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
This exciting opportunity is working alongside the Regional Manager of European Operation, so will not be office based regularly and will include plenty of travel across the UK and Europe.
