Amazon Devices organization, which include Amazon Echo, FireTV, Fire Tablets, and Kindle E-readers, is looking for a Business Planning & Sales Operations Manager with experience in operations, selling products in both online and offline channels. We work with Europe's largest Retailers, and other large organizations who want to partner with Amazon Devices. Working with multiple internal product category teams, sales and marketing team across many locales and channels, we are experiencing rapid growth. This is a senior role reporting directly into the EU Director - Indirect Channels.
Key job responsibilities
• Own all of the business planning for the EU Indirect Channel - including long-range multi-year planning, annual Operating Plans, quarterly and monthly business reviews and weekly business performance reporting and inspection.
• Work in a fast-paced, data-led environment - quickly analysing and interpreting high volumes of data. Create rich data visualizations and produce compelling supporting narratives leveraging data insights.
• Raise the bar for operational excellence – rolling out best-practices across multiple local and global operating processes.
• Understand all of the key controllable inputs to past, current and future performance and identify risks and opportunities in the business' plans. Works cross-functionally to amend plans in light of new information.
• Dive Deep into specific business analysis, deeply inspecting the root cause of any perceived issues and ensuring that any learning is shared broadly.
• Work closely with the BI team to ensure that self-service tools are continually improved such that all of the teams' capacity to self-audit improves over time.
• Manage and develop a team of 3+ operations managers.
• Be able to present with senior leaders, up to VP level.

• Bachelor or Master's degree
• Multiple years of experience in sales operations, business planning or equivalent function with exposure to sales teams.
• Experience managing and developing a team.
• Highly analytical, technically advanced in support of business analysis needs.
• Proven experience with process improvement.
• Demonstrates an ability to work quickly, collaboratively and successfully with multiple global stakeholders.
• Excellent skills in Excel or other Business Intelligence or analytical tools.
• Willingness to roll up one’s sleeves to get the job done.
• Master’s degree (MBA, Maths, Engineering, Science).
• Demonstrated ability to work in a cross-functional, highly matrixed environment.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Solid grasp of the physical goods supply chain.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate projects across functional teams, including technical, engineering, marketing, finance and product teams.
