What will you be doing?
A management role within the Central Consumer Operations team. Responsible for the following:
- To own and manage the long range strategic plan for Consumer Sales Retail Estate. Modelling data, managing budgets and helping create and share insights to enable operational and strategic decisions to be made across Retail and Franchise (Consumer Sales).  As part of this, defining and delivering the Retail Estate Property Strategy and CAPEX planning.
- Delivery of large/ complex projects that develop the profitability, operational efficiency and customer experience of the retail stores in line with the CBU/ Retail strategy and operating plan.  CAPEX responsibility from £1 - £50m
- Define and Gatekeep the use of Micro and Macro Space within the Retail Estate to ensure maximum return on footprint (including the management of Rate Card activity)
- Support key commercial functions in the design and development of space in store to drive commercial opportunities
- Responsible for building, owning and sharing the long range plan and Retail Estate Strategy, ensuring alignment with overall consumer channel strategy.  This includes but not exhaustive to defining the Retail footprint and management the lease renewal or disposal process.  Within this, ownership of the relationship with our Group Distribution teams and other OpCo’s, Property and Brand.
- Lead the Delivery of all cross functional teams to deliver against the agreed Estate Strategy Plan including Gatekeeper of the Format Strategy and store design for Retail.
- Own the Macro and Micro Space in Store to ensure the footprint is driven to deliver the most profitable results
- Owns and manages the Budget submission process for Estate development CAPEX .  Manages the completion and sign off of all business cases to support projects, and secures relevant funding. Responsible then for the spend within Estate development typically c £1m £2m
- Ensure correct Governance in place to support all Delivery programmes against  time, budget and specification detailed SLA

- Leader with developed interpersonal skills who builds excellent working relationships with other team members & customers alike.  Works across functions to solve problems.
- Proven experience in leading large internal and cross functional Teams or projects
- Experience of Retail environments, operations, limitations/constraints and drivers.
- Highly numerate and analytical, able to tackle complex issues quickly and accurately with the ability to be flexible and innovative in solving problems. ÂÂ
- Ability to react positively within a fast moving and ever changing commercial environment.
- Have an in-depth knowledge of Indirect and Retail channel dynamics including commercial drivers
- Well-developed organisational skills with a strong focus on attention to detail
