Job Description
1. Conduct deep dive research on oncology-specific disease areas, industry themes and companies. Writes draft research commentary.2. Builds patient-based models to forecast market share, pricing & revenue on the product/disease level.3. Builds & models company financial statements. Conducts financial and valuation analyses.4. Works closely with senior analyst in the research production process as well as with the supervisory analysts in the publication process.5. Depending on experience of the Associate, may work closely with Capital Markets, sales, and trading to help leverage the analyst\'s research product into the institutional client base.6. Maintain active dialog with representatives of covered and other relevant companies.7. Obtain / maintain required licenses for the role: the SIE and the 7 Top Off (or Series 7 for those licensed prior to October 2019), Series 63, Series 87 and either the Series 86 or a FINRA waiver for those who have completed CFA II
Position Requirements1. BA/BS degree in life sciences. Advanced life science degree preferred.2. Minimum of 3 years related work experience with undergraduate degree, or 2 years related experience with advanced degree. 3. Mastery of financial and accounting concepts4. Prior experience creating company financial models, and therapeutic product revenue forecast models.5. Mastery of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint & Word6. Advanced written and oral communication skills.7. Strong analytical skills.
