We are searching for someone who can direct and manage environmental remediation activities at active and legacy sites. Includes leading work with regulatory authorities, P&G and external Legal, Finance, Real Estate, manufacturing, environmental consultants and others to complete environmental investigations, then develop and manage cost effective remedial soil and groundwater contamination solutions across the globe. This includes performing environmental due diligence for acquisitions and divestitures, supporting sites with clean up of spills, selecting and managing consulting companies and contractors performing the remediation work, and providing technical support for litigation and defense.

Qualifications

EDUCATION:

A Bachelors or Master’s degree in Geology, Environmental Engineering or related degrees.

SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

  • 4+ years of experience in related field
  • Experience in managing soil, soil vapor and groundwater contamination investigation and remediation techniques and projects, including sampling protocols and techniques
  • Strong project management skills including managing multiple projects and financial accounting of consultant charges.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively communicate to all levels within the company and externally
  • Strong knowledge of significant environmental laws/regulations that drive remediation clean up requirements
