Environmental Program Manager, AFCENT, International – 06 Posted March 17, 2022March 17, 2022 HR@ageiss- We are looking to place Environmental Program Managers on site at Air Forces Central Command (AFCENT) Area of Responsibility (AOR) installations in Kuwait, Jordan, Saudi Arabia, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE) Automated Data Processing (ADP) systems, such as Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, Power Point, Access, and Outlook), and the Automated Civil Engineer System (ACES) to assist the installations.Collect data on services, including environmental programs, and analyze and report on findings. Support Program Management Reviews, staff meetings, program discussions, and strategy sessions. Coordinate and review data deliverables for functional and technical accuracy/completeness, and for compliance with applicable regulations; and assess and advise whether the technical deliverables satisfy specifications and schedules. Assist in documenting program files organizing files, organizing format for active file use, and staging. Provide environmental management support, planning, programming, program execution monitoring, and execution proposal review. Assist with the physical duties associated with the job, including but not limited to, moving, loading, or unloading any environmental/hazardous waste materials handled at the installations. Provide spill response and site clean-up operations, along with hands-on hazardous waste management activities .Provide independent assessments of Program Management/Program Control (PM/PC) functions and evaluate prices submitted by other subcontractors for validity and consistency .Provide in-depth cost reviews of delivery order modifications. Provide pollution prevention coordination services. Assist in providing management and planning support as well as program execution monitoring and development of policy. Review and assess other contractors' field activities, designs, and/or construction schedules, and make recommendations to the Government to ensure compliance with environmental regulations. Provide training and/or deliverables in support of training to support the AFCENT and installations' missions. Provide Acquisition Support Services for all phases of the acquisition cycle; support the pre-award and post-award contracting activities such as: Services support and Environmental Remediation/ Restoration support in support of the installations. Assist with Tanks program including evaluations, maintenance requirements, site visits, and quality checks. Assist with Hazardous Waste program, including disposition of common wastes, definition of containers in use, and identification of other issue

Job Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.Minimum of 10 years of related experience. Experience working in environmental operations management for the DoD, and previous experience working environmental field duties. Experience with plan writing, engineering plan review, and policy development. First responder training, incident command training, and 40-hour HAZWOPER training is required. Experience with the implementation of Overseas Environmental Baseline Guidance Document (OEBGD) within South West and Central Asia is required .Knowledge of AFCENT and AOR installations and their requirements/programs is desired. Experience working in training is desired. Working knowledge and understanding of DoD policies, standards, and specifications is preferred.A working knowledge of other environmental statutes and regulations is desired.Active SECRET clearance is required. ISO 14001 certification is desired. Strong written and oral communication skills. High degree of organization. Proficiency with MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, and/or Adobe).Motivated self-starters
