Functions / responsibilities

• Ensure implementation of Barrick's Sustainability Policy and associated procedures and standards. Undertake induction and awareness training programs for employees, contractors and consultants to ensure that all workforce are properly briefed on environmental requirements.
• Coordinate, oversee and assist with environmental specialist studies during the feasibility and ESIA phase.
• Undertake and oversee environmental monitoring, data collection and management. Regular interaction and coordination with ESIA Project Manager Lead
• Implement and ensure compliance with the Project's ESMP and all applicable national and local legislation.
• Maintain a transparent, proactive and effective relationship with respective environmental authorities and support the CSR team with environmental-related engagement with project stakeholders.
• Preparation and management of budgets, internal and external reporting, Power Point presentations, minutes and participation in various strategies and meetings.

Skills / qualifications

Qualification:

• Bachelor's degree in related field.
• Post Graduate degree preferable

Experience:

• 10+ years' experience and 3+ years in a leadership position, with responsibilities related with those mentioned.

Required:

• Fluent in reading, writing, speaking and interpreting in Balochi language, required
• Fluent in reading, writing, speaking and interpreting in Urdu language, required
• Fluent in reading, writing, speaking and interpreting in English language, required
