Summary:

The Enterprise Region Manager for the Northeast Region will have responsibility for managing Portfolio Territory Managers, Pharmacy Specialists and Nutrition Specialists and have responsibility for the tactical/operational daily activities of the sales team in leading the team to exceed the USHP Products Portfolio Sales Budget.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Support the Territory Managers with prospective customers, deliver effective sales presentations, provide technical and administrative product information and/or demonstrations, and quote appropriate customer prices.    
  • Work closely with Territory Managers, customer service and operations to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction. 
  • Drive the implementation of team strategies to ensure the attainment of regionally focused objectives
  • Plan, direct, and control the sales and business activities for region through the translation of strategic plans into sales strategies to attain sales volume, product mix and profit objectives
  • Prepare annual regional forecasts and participate in the determination of market potential and in preparation of sales expense estimates for the region
  • Plan and manage the sales & development efforts of the region including, contract compliance, staffing, training, performance management, coaching plans, administrative requirements (Boost, BaxU, QSOR, Tableau, OneDrive, etc).
  • Contact and collaborate with IDN Team with major accounts within region to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Confer with immediate superior and marketing personnel in the development of marketing policy, recommending product and product line revisions as well as pricing changes
  • Partner with sales support, marketing and R&D in activities such as sales promotion, training or market research in planning and executing special projects
  • Promote the Baxter Culture through positive ongoing customer relations.
  • Direct product simplification and standardization to eliminate unprofitable items from sales line

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Candidate must possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral, as well as negotiation and presentation skills with 3+ years of sales management experience.
  • Position requires ability to analyze and interpret data for effective sales strategies and good organization/time management skills
  • Ability to understand and adapt to customer changing needs is essential
  • Candidate must demonstrate business acumen and knowledge of sales processes as well as strong leadership and decision-making abilities
  • Travel is required and may involve visits to remote or urban areas either individually or with other personnel
  • Bachelor’s degree required with 7 or more years of healthcare sales experience
