The Enterprise Internal Cloud Product team is currently looking for an Experienced Enterprise Product Lead Developer. This team aims to provide a consumer like employee and commercial like services which deliver agility, self-service and automation of compute, network and storage capability to enable business competitiveness and keep Boeing and its partners connected in the most innovative, efficient and effective way.

We are looking for passionate individuals to continuously create and sustain the secure operating environment across the cloud service provides, reusable Infrastructure as Code libraries for tenant use, and delivery of automation patterns to enable Agile DevOps.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with product manager, product owner, public cloud architect, and development team within agile teams to enable the deployment of user stories / tasks.
  • Lead BIETC development team assisting with understanding, guidance, and recommendations to enable new cloud functionality
  • Security-first development of solution architecture, documentation and support infrastructure services deployed on internal cloud
  • Lead, participate and share knowledge with developers and the developer community.
  • Assist and provide guidance in the creation of automation solutions using DevSecOps and other available tools to expedite infrastructure as code development pipelines for the cloud product catalog
  • Partner, collaborate and lead team efforts for solution design, development and implementation
  • 3rd-level problem escalation and vendor liaison in troubleshooting server issues
  • Participate in the management and maintenance of pre-production lab environments
  • Create and maintain necessary software design and relevant documentation.
  • Proactively identify opportunities and recommendations for elimination of code related cloud product technical debt
  • Effectively resolve problems and roadblocks as they occur, consistently providing recommendation and innovation as well as issue resolution
  • Monitor the implementation of architecture throughout the software development lifecycle
  • Work with cross-functional cloud and infrastructure teams spread across multiple products and locations within Boeing and external partners, across different cultures and time-zones.

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.

  

This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.  

 

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 5+ years of experience with data models and data retrieval techniques using Indexes etc.
  • 5+ years of experience in Linux & Windows OS
  • 5+ years of experience with Cloud Infrastructure Scripting including ARM/Cloud Formation, node, python, PowerShell
  • 5+ years of experience with VM Configuration management using tools like Chef
  • 5+ years of experience with deployment automation with tools such as Artifactory, Jenkins, Docker, GitLab and GitLab Runners
  • 5+ years of experience with high availability service configurations
  • 5+ years of experience in testing including JUnit, Pester, rspec
  • 5+ years of development experience in Java, Bootstrap, Angular, generic Javascript, generic Comma Separated Style, emphasis on front end
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Experience in best practices and tools around continuous integration and continuous delivery

 

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Experience with system administration
  • Tools & Utilities: JDK, JDeveloper, Unix Tools, Maven, Confluence, and security compliance tools
  • Experience in configuration tools like ADO and JIRA

 

Typical Education/Experience: 

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 10 or more years\' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master +1 years\' related work experience, 7 years\' related work experience, etc.).

Summary pay range: 81,740 – 142,740
