Job Description

The Sales Operations Sr. Analyst will deliver and define the critical information and analysis to drive decision making processes and support business operations for internal leadership and external producers. 

The role supports the Enterprise Distribution and Partnership Growth team as regards to but not limited to:

  • producer compensation strategic E2E valuation,
  • framework and formulation,
  • reporting from various source systems,
  • sales inquiry management in a fast pace environment,
  • financial and growth projection analysis,
  • compensation payment logistics & administration and
  • research and analyzing operational policies and procedures to standardize and develop best practices for the organization while working in a team environment and strategic partners.

Primary Accountabilities:

  • Provide management and support of Producer compensation for assigned markets.  Includes understanding of all E2E logistics used to determine a payment from tactical formulation to administration of calculations to Producers.
  • Triage producer payment issues that impact the Producer’s compensation statement through independent analysis and investigation.
  • Field business requests from leadership and business partners and provide tactical response leveraging individual contributor knowledge, source system determinants and resources.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and serve as market expert regarding compensation matters.
  • Ability to collaborate and work closely with business partners such as but not limited to Commissions, Legal, Underwriting, Operations, Marketing, Pricing, Products, Finance and Sales departments up to senior leadership.
  • Analyze and process monthly/quarterly/annual payments for producers receiving supplemental or non-standard compensation from enterprise systems as well as manually calculated formula.
  • Process check and wire payments.
  • Proactive monitoring, tracking and communicating proactive producer bonus payment requests supporting a risk/reward base model of implementing growth solutions.
  • Validate, track and submit all bonus payments for a specific region within a scheduled timeframe.
  • Collaborate with Producer Relations Directors and Regional Producer Relationship Managers to oversee and maintain budget expense and efficiencies in current processes.
  • Collaborate with the reporting, analytics and administrative teams to be able to draw conclusions from analysis and apply insight and decisive but quantifiable execution based on the findings.
  • Prepare various ad hoc reporting requests for internal clients and customers using Tableau, Salesforce or other similar databases.
  • Assist in compensation program design and drafting of future compensation agreements for Producers. This includes developing, testing and implementation of the programs advising with Legal, Compliance and Sales teams.
  • Create and maintain documentation of standard operating procedures.
  • Assist Manager as needed in day-to-day activities related to producer compensation, research, analytics and/or special projects.

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years insurance or related experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree; Business, Finance, Mathematics or 7+ years equivalent work experience.
  • Prior experience working with Brokers and Sales Representatives is a plus.
  • Analytical abilities a must and is required to navigate the day to day inquiries and challenges presented by internal and external business partners in a self-learned and team environment.
  • Motivated self-starter who is detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and time management.
  • Ability to function in a high demand work environment while managing multiple priorities.
  • Excellent oral, written and presentation skills required.
  • Ability to function equally as an individual and as a team player with proven ability to manage strong working relationships within the organization.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and database applications.

This role is WAH/Flex which allows most work to be performed at home. Employees must be fully vaccinated if they choose to come onsite. 
 

This position is not eligible to be performed in Colorado.
