Job Responsibilities

Impact on the business: 

Demonstrate ability to think strategically whilst having a strong focus on End-User technologies and operational service delivery
Lead effort to identify and analyse business drivers to derive business, information, technical, and solution requirements and to analyse IT industry and market trends and determine potential impact upon Enterprise.
Develop overall architecture approach for all layers of a solution. (Conceptual and logical architecture specifications).
Support business case definition with business and finance and Demonstrate experience of translating user requirements into solution designs.
Lead vendor and SI selection with Procurement, domain leads, architecture, operations, and finance.

Customers, suppliers and third parties:  
•    Ensure that solutions implemented meet business objectives, Architecture Principles and leverage on best practice. 
•    Working collaboratively with central and local Technology stakeholders to ensure that the right technology infrastructure are in place to support the central and local delivery and operations.

Leadership and Team Work:
•    Leads and manages a virtual team of solution designers to shape, set up and support the Enterprise solutions required to deliver and operate the Enterprise Programme Delivery initiative.
•    Experience in leading and supporting other architects to deliver a cohesive end-to-end architecture.
•    Ability to take the lead during meetings and help to drive governance and programme level boards with associated stakeholder management .
 

Innovation and Change:  
•    Drive innovation agenda in IT Domain process and systems together with SW providers, Business and SIs. 
•    Maximise the usage of technology in order to simplify systems and processes and ultimately drive efficiency in Enterprise to enable business growth. 
•    Serve as an architecture conduit for external requests and queries, and provide education on enterprise architecture directions and goals. 
•    Manage demand pipe and build Enterprise roadmap with the business for IT Domain processes 

Communication:  
•    Act as IT representative towards business and business representative towards IT
•    Provide solution direction and guidance to other project architects and technical staff.
•    Interact with, plan and monitor technical departments effort to implement successful delivery of the solutions.  
•    Develops and maintains relationship with Group and Local OpCo technology leads, while ensuring that team members remain the primary point of contact for day-to-day matters.  
•    Builds and maintains relationships with external vendors and partners.
