We work in small, agile DevOps teams with colleagues around the world. Following extensive investment across our Technology and Digital domains, we are currently seeking a talented Enterprise Architect, KYC to join HSBC Technology. The Enterprise Architect, KYC has responsibility for leading, defining, maintaining and owning reference and solution architectures for the Customer Due Diligence domain within wider Compliance IT. You will help lead the shaping, design and development of architectures, which are aligned with group standards, IT and business strategy, meet business objectives and satisfy all relevant regulatory and operational risk controls. You will also actively participate in the architecture practice across the wider Compliance Technology Architecture team plus also ensure that the target architecture is implemented consistently by the respective CDD DevOps teams. Our KYCIT team is responsible for delivering strategies to improve the effectiveness and efficiencies of our financial crime risks controls in HSBC. What you will be doing; Work with the CDD IT and Business teams along with IT colleagues in business and functional teams to design, agree and support the delivery of a range of projects. As part of the HSBC Architecture Team, you will also ensure that architectural direction is consistent with HSBC Architecture strategy through constant and effective engagement with architecture colleagues.
What you will bring to the role; To be successful in this role you should have proven experience within the Technology sector with knowledge of the following skills: • Extensive commercial Enterprise Architecture experience (preferably with hands on exposure to the KYC domain) • Strong design experience in service based solution patterns utilizing micro-services and APIs deployed on cloud (GCP/AWS) • End to end Operations processing experience highly beneficial (Esp. KYC Operations as noted above) • Experience working with formal Architecture frameworks (such as TOGAF) is considered beneficial This role will ideally be London based but if you are interested in working remotely from elsewhere in the UK, we'd love to hear from you, some travel travel may be required.
