Responsibilities

Lead transformations and establish and maintain solid working relationships across business and IT teams

Drive results and accountability through OKR (Objective key-results), using a variety of methods and tools/technology

Balance and manage operational and business concerns to ensure consistent delivery of quality products and services

Contribute to strategies for improving time to market of applications across various product lines

Oversee complex customer issues and ensure effective and long-term problem resolution

Manage data on customer failures; identify trends and communicate results to cross functional partners in product development and the business

Employ an engaging and professional leadership approach built on collaboration, transformational leadership principles, and diversity and inclusivity

Lead a team comprised of various levels of resources including Project Managers, Business Analysts, Architects, Lead/Senior/Base-Level engineers and Test Engineers

Research, create and recruit new roles in the IT Data space, related to BI, Analytics, Data Science, etc.

Motivate and guide employees to accomplish team and individual goals

Tactical and strategic planning and execution, as well as escalation awareness

Qualifications

Required:

Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future

Must be at least 18 years of age

Must have 10+ years of related experience

Must have 5+ years of experience successfully leading cross functional, onsite and virtual teams in global software development, including but not limited to: product/service delivery, release management and production support

2+ years of experience in building out a data strategy, centered around Data Lake, BI Tooling, Advanced Analytics, Data Modeling, Data Science, etc.

Ability to travel onsite to Anaheim, CA, St Louis, MO or Madison, WI location on a quarterly basis or as needed for meetings/events

Must be located in AZ, CA, FL, IL, LA, MD, MI, MN, MO, NJ, NV, NY, OH, OR, TN, TX, VA, WA or WI

For work from home positions; must have reliable, high speed internet connection and dedicated work space/home office

Preferred:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred

Experience in insurance and/or collision industries

Experience in Agile methodology using JIRA and Confluence

Experience supporting cloud-based large scale or high-transactional volume SaaS products

Qualified Candidates should also possess:

Understanding of IT security and compliance remediation activities

Understanding of  IT Build, Deployment, Observability, Development practices utilized to deliver high quality software.

Abillity to maintain and cultivate an active professional network for the purposes of pipelining future hires; stays current in local/regional IT market to understand competition and talent sources

Effectiveness at recruiting, selecting and orienting employees

Ability to foster agile principles within engineering teams
