What you’ll achieve
As an Engineering Technologist in Integrated Solutions and Ecosystems CTIO team you will be conducting research on new AI and Data Analytics technologies and working on setting Dell’s technology direction for next generation solutions. Primary responsibilities for this position include performing technology assessments, conducting proof of concept studies on new technologies, working with technology partners and customers on joint innovation and developing a technology point of view for the company. This role will focus mainly on domain specific accelerators, as well as middleware and software for AI and other emerging workloads. This requires a strong understanding of systems architecture including processor, networking and storage as well as software tools to manage this infrastructure. You will be working in the ISG CTO organization and get to experience bleeding edge technologies with an opportunity to influence technology direction for the company and the industry.

Essential Requirements
MS/PhD in CS/CE/EE, at least 10 years of experience in product development or technology incubation for AI and Data Analytics
Hands-on experience with software tools and middleware used in AI and Data Analytics including but not limited to Spark, Hadoop, Kafka, Tensorflow, PyTorch, etc.
Strong understanding of processor architecture and domain specific accelerators (GPUs, FPGAs, AI Accelerators)
Desirable Requirements
Working knowledge of performance profiling and optimization tools
Domain expertise preferred in one of more vertical including but not limited to: Life Sciences, Manufacturing, Finance, etc.
System level design expertise including working with networking and storage technologies
