Job Description
Job Duties/Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
- Provide Project Leadership to the team of engineers involved in Controls Design and development for Bi-Directional Power Converters/Inverters, Chargers to meet functional, reliability and durability & cost goals
- Conduct Project, Technical evaluation & participate in Project decisions meetings
- Utilise and follow key product development processes (FMEA, DVP&R, APQP, PPAP etc.,) inherent in NPI, CPI & Cost reduction programs
- Responsible and Accountable for Project progress
- Communicate results to customers, suppliers, team members and other cross functional teams in a concise and accurate manner
- Promote commonization and standardization
- Extensive project planning and adhere to Quality, Velocity and Cost targets
- Work with Subject Matter Experts (SME) and Process partners to understand and document the requirements
Basic Qualifications:
- 10-15 years’ experience for Bachelors (EEE) or Masters in Power System or Power Electronics. 5 to 8 years of experience for Ph.D. candidates with experience in Controls systems design, development and Validation of Advanced power system technology like fuel cell power sources, energy storage systems, hydrogen fuel cells, hybrids, electric vehicles (EV), etc and functional validation testing
- Knowledge of Invertors/Chargers or similar Electrical Component product Controls - design, development, Validation, and testing.
- Experience in electrical product and components testing.
- Working knowledge of Matlab SW, HiL benches
