About Position
 
Persistent Systems is looking for well-rounded Engineering Leads / Project
Leads with 6+ years of Industry experience in software development
preferably in a fast-paced dynamic environment. The ideal candidate would
have a bachelor’s degree in computer science / related field and should
possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
 
What You'll Do
 

• Extensive, Angular experience with webbased technologies and architectures such as RESTful APIs, HTML5, JavaScript / ES6, RxJs.
• Good understanding of HTTP, browser JS engine architecture.
• Proficient understanding of Java script design patterns.
• Proficient understanding of functional programing.
• Familiarity with unit testing framework such as Jasmine.
• Basic understanding of CSS Preprocessor platforms like LESS and SASS.
• Basic understanding of UX best practices. Comfortable with basic command line actions and familiarity with source code version control systems such as Git.

 
Expertise You'll Bring

• Leading the complete development of front-end web application development starting from development to deployment.
• Ensuring that the team adheres to the industry best practices and standards.
• Product Management and improving the product performance for best user experience continuous and reliable service quality.
• Writing tested, idiomatic, and documented JavaScript, HTML and CSS and building generic and reusable libraries.
• Conducting code reviews and take relevant actions to ensure code quality and scalability of application.
• Coordinating the workflow between the product manager and the UX designers.
• Cooperating with the back-end developer in the process of building the RESTful API.
• Ensuring code quality and scalability of application.
• Working in an Agile development environment using SCRUM.
