Job Description
Ensure timely completion of all integrity testing, inspections, and repairs of all facility mechanical and structural improvements/assets, including but not limited to, product storage tanks, pipe systems, pumps, foundations, support structures, process vessels/piping and all other assets/equipment, in accordance with Industry and Company standards and in compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
Ensure construction/installation of all new improvements, assets, installations, and equipment conform with approved proposals, scopes of work, design drawings/calculations, permits to construct/operate and Industry and Company standards and comply with all federal, state, and local regulations.
Review and approve the scopes of all work performed by third-party original equipment manufacturers ("OEMs"), consultants, contractors, and vendors to ensure safe efficient performance of all work.
Coordinate scoping and scheduling of all construction, testing, inspections, repairs, and improvements of all assets and equipment with approved contractors and vendors.
Review contractor/vendor work orders, bills of materials, pay applications, draw requests, invoices, change orders, and related documents for accuracy.
Coordinate all construction, inspection testing and inspection activities with all applicable contractors, vendors, as well as all Company management, operations, maintenance, engineering, Environmental Health & Safety ("EHS"), Controls and Process Safety Management ("PSM") personnel.
Properly apply Process Safety Management ("PSM") standards/processes, including Management of Change ("MOC") procedures to all scenarios where applicable.
Ensure contractor and visitor safety and regulatory compliance by properly registering, supervising, and conducting site-specific hazard training for contractors and visitors, performing verification of contractor qualifications and insurance coverage prior to commencement of work, and conducting regular safety meetings (e.g., morning tailgate meetings) with contractor personnel during work.
Ensure strict adherence to safe work practices, programs and permits for all employees and contractors, including, but not limited to, practices, programs and permits pertaining to safe work, hot work, confined space entry/work, lockout/tagout ("LOTO"), hydrogen sulfide ("H2S) monitoring/training, maintenance and use of SCBA, fire monitoring, etc.

Ensure all activities comply with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures
Qualifications
BS in Engineering, Materials Science or Physics or Equivalent Technical Background
BS in Mechanical Engineering preferred
2-4 years of engineering or lean manufacturing experience
2-4 years of work experience with Regulatory Compliance and/or Health and Safety a plus.
Excellent written, verbal, and listening communication skills
Demonstrated ability to apply mathematics, engineering, and process logic in an industrial process/production environment.
Attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to don and doff SCBA
