The Information Technology (I.T.) department of Enterprise Fleet Management builds and implements powerful solutions that help to drive and support the operations of our Fleet management business spread across the country and Canada. Responsibilities
The EFM IT team has an immediate opening for an Engineer 1- DBA. This position will focus on learning, testing, implementing, maintaining, documenting, and supporting production and non-production databases and data dictionaries in compliance with application specifications. Additionally, this position will quickly learn & perform how to monitor daily database activities including performance, growth, tuning, and security configurations.

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future.
One year of experience, or equivalent education, working with Oracle or relational databases and storage systems
Possess a conceptual knowledge of relational databases and SQL queries
Ability to understand and maintain UNIX scripts
Ability to participate in an on-call rotation and perform night and weekend maintenance activities
Willing to work with senior DBAs & quickly learn new technologies, platforms, and applications
