Amazon is currently seeking a Program Manager for the Reliability Maintenance Engineering (RME) Estates team, to manage RME sustainability projects and will be responsible for the long-term delivery of these. The successful candidate will have a strong level of ownership, excellent collaboration and communication skills and be highly motivated with seasoned Engineering Project/Program Management experience. The successful candidate will have high work capacity while being detail oriented and agile to manage business changes to keep initiatives on track. The position will support the entire network managed by EU RME, which may include non-EU locations (such as Singapore, Australia and Japan) and will have a strong focus on our core principles of invent and simplify, bias for action, and ownership.

Key Areas of Responsibility:
· Work with internal Amazon teams and external partners to deliver CAPEX and OPEX projects and process innovations.
· Support with the implementation and handover of projects to RME initiated by WW Sustainability and other business areas.
· Lead energy efficiency technology trials to identify retrofit opportunities that RME can implement network wide to meet reduction targets.
· Support the Project Management Office (PMO) with procedures and standard ways of working that follow a common language for project and program delivery.
· With the PMO create, submit and track the relevant approval documentation to ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within budget and best overall value.
· Write CAPEX project plans with supporting white paper justification.
· Communicate project status, drive and elevate decision making and help requests.
· Lead critical path schedule items and escalate to leadership on potential risks and delays.
· Run post-implementation project reviews and lessons learned sessions.
This role includes a travelling activity of up to 50%.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

· University Degree, Master in Engineering (or science/technology).
· Proven technical leadership experience in development and implementation of complex projects.
· Project Management qualification (Prince2, PMP or equivalent).
· Excellent working knowledge using MS Excel, MS Project (Or equivalent tools).
· Fluency in English required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

· University Degree, Master in Engineering (or science/technology), or MBA.
· proven technical leadership experience in development and implementation of large scale, complex projects.
· Proficiency in data management systems and business intelligence tools: PowerBI, MS Project, MS SQL.
· Multilingual.
· Certified Energy Manger (CEM) or equivalent.
· LEED or BREEAM Certified.
